2. User Conduct and Prohibited Activities

• Users agree NOT to:

  • Misrepresent identity, age, or affiliations.
  • Engage in harassment, violence, or illegal activities.
  • Share any unauthorized, harmful, or copyrighted content.
  • Post any 18+ content.
  • Use the platform for commercial, pyramid schemes, or other unauthorized activities.
  • Exploit or interfere with site operations via robots, data mining, or unauthorized means.
  • Use the site for unauthorized advertising or to transmit harmful software.

• Content Restrictions: Users may not upload content that is offensive, violent, or discriminatory, or that violates intellectual property or privacy rights.

  • Effective reporting to authorities.
  • Continuous updates to policies to align with evolving laws and best practices.

    Commitment to Child Safety

    uniQ.me is committed to maintaining a safe and secure environment for all users, including children. We strictly prohibit content and conduct that involves or promotes child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE).

    Reporting Child Safety Concerns

    Users can report any child safety concerns directly through the uniQ.me app. To report concerns:

    1. Navigate to the in-app reporting feature. (Buttons: Report Post or Report User on user's profile).
    2. Provide details of the incident or content in question.
    3. Submit your report for immediate review by our dedicated team.

    Compliance with Child Safety Laws

    uniQ.me complies with all relevant child safety laws, including reporting obligations to regional and national authorities. We work in collaboration with these authorities to address any cases involving CSAE swiftly and appropriately.

    uniQ.me adheres to externally published standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation. These standards are designed to ensure:

  Zero Tolerance Policy

  uniQ.me enforces a zero-tolerance policy for violations involving CSAE. Any user found engaging in such activity will be permanently banned and reported to law enforcement.

3. Content Ownership and Rights

• User Content: By submitting content, users grant Uniq.me a license to use, modify, and distribute it as needed for platform functionality. Users are responsible for their content, which should not include sensitive personal information (such as contact or banking information). Uniq.me reserves the right to remove inappropriate content.
• Company Content: All other content on the site (text, logos, images) is the property of Uniq.me or its licensors. Users are not permitted to copy, modify, or distribute this content without explicit permission.

4. Privacy Policy

  1). Protected Resources We Access

  a. Camera and Photos

  • Purpose: To allow you to take and upload photos or videos to your profile, share them with other users, or use them in app-specific features such as media sharing or customization.
  • Example: If you choose to upload a profile picture, we will access your camera or photo library to select and upload the image.

  b. Microphone

  • Purpose: To enable you to record audio or video messages to communicate with other users or for app features requiring voice input.
  • Example: If you send a voice message to another user, we will use your device's microphone to capture your voice.

  c. Location Data

  • Purpose: To provide location-based services, such as finding nearby friends or recommending content tailored to your area.
  • Example: If you opt into location services, we may show other users within a specified radius of your current location.

  d. Contacts

  • Purpose: To help you connect with friends by finding others who are already using the app.
  • Example: With your consent, we will access your contacts to identify matches or invite your friends to join.

  2). Data Usage and Retention

  All data collected through these resources will:

  1. Be used solely for the purposes explicitly stated above.
  2. Be retained only for as long as necessary to fulfill the intended purposes or as required by law.
  3. Not be shared with third parties without your explicit consent unless legally mandated.

  3). User Control

  • You can manage or revoke access to these protected resources at any time via your device settings.
  • Revoking access may limit or disable some features of the app.

5. Payment and Virtual Items

• Uniq.me offers virtual items (credits, points) through third-party providers (Google Pay, Apple Pay, PayPal, Stripe). All purchases are final, with no refunds. Virtual items are licensed, non-transferrable, and subject to change or removal at Uniq.me’s discretion. Your rights to use them expire with account termination or service cessation.

6. Push Notifications and Location-Based Services

• Users may receive notifications, including app updates and promotions. Location-based features may require permission to access location data via GPS or other methods. Opt-out options are available in device settings.

7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

• Uniq.me provides services "as-is" and does not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free functionality. Users assume responsibility for interactions on the site, and Uniq.me disclaims liability for damages resulting from the use of the site. In the event of liability, damages are limited to $100 or less.

8. Indemnity

• Users agree to indemnify Uniq.me and its partners from claims arising from their use of the site, content submission, and any breach of these terms.

9. Third-Party Links and Ads

• Uniq.me is not responsible for third-party content, advertisements, or links found on the site. Engaging with third-party links is at the user’s own risk.

10. Dispute Resolution

• Disputes must first go through informal resolution. Unresolved disputes are subject to binding arbitration under AAA rules, waiving the right to class actions. Claims under $5,000 may proceed in small claims court.

11. Termination and Suspension

• Uniq.me reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these terms, misuse of the platform, or for security and policy reasons. Users acknowledge that account termination may result in content deletion.

12. Copyright Policy

• Uniq.me respects intellectual property rights. Please contact support@uniq.me if you believe content infringes your copyright.

13. Modifications and Updates

• Uniq.me may update these Terms periodically. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

 14. Privacy and Tracking Policy

At Uniq.me, we prioritize your privacy and are committed to providing a secure and transparent experience. We do not track your activity across other apps or websites, and we do not collect data for advertising or tracking purposes.

1. No Tracking Policy

We do not:

• Track your activity across third-party apps or websites.
• Use cookies, pixels, or any similar technologies for tracking purposes.
• Collect advertising identifiers (such as IDFA) for targeted ads.

Your activity within our app is solely used to deliver the functionality and services you expect from Uniq.me.

2. Data Collection and Usage

While we do not perform tracking, we may collect certain data necessary for the app to function, such as:

• Account Information: Data you provide during registration (e.g., email address, username).
• Usage Data: Data required to deliver features, improve app performance, and ensure security.
• Device Information: Limited technical data (e.g., operating system, app version) to maintain compatibility.

This data is never shared with third parties for advertising or tracking purposes.

3. Compliance with App Tracking Transparency

Although Uniq.me does not track users, we comply with Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework by informing users of our practices:

• You will not see a tracking permission prompt because we do not track your activity.
• No data is collected for purposes that require user consent under ATT.

4. Your Privacy Choices

You have control over your data. Since we do not track, there are no tracking preferences to manage. However, you can:

5. Security and Compliance

We are committed to protecting your data and complying with applicable privacy laws, including:
